I build Kazhy. It's a macOS app for talking instead of typing: hold a key, speak, and the text lands in whatever app you're in.

Why I made it
I made it because I type all day and I think faster than I type. Every dictation tool I tried either got the words wrong or handed me a transcript I still had to clean up. So I built the one I wanted, and I use it every day.
What I spent the time on
Speaking the words is the easy half. Most of the work is in what happens after: every transcript is kept and searchable, any of them can be re-formatted later with a different style, and the diff shows which words the style actually changed. Keep the audio and you can play it back or transcribe it again. All of it stays on your Mac.
Before this
I've spent seven years building apps for Apple platforms, most of it as the only iOS developer on the product — from first commit to App Store release. Kazhy is the first thing I've shipped that is entirely mine: the app, the backend, the billing, the release pipeline.
Where it is now
Kazhy is new. It has almost no users, and I'd rather say that than pretend otherwise. If you try it and something is broken, write to me. I read every message myself.
